Center for Geroscience and Healthy Brain Aging

The Oklahoma aim to serve as a national resource to enable sustained, accelerated progress in aging and geroscience research. We achieve this goal by providing intellectual leadership to the aging and geroscience research community and cutting-edge technology, innovation, training, mentorship and career development opportunities to investigators in these fields. In doing so, we advance our understanding of aging and expand the geroscience field.

The Oklahoma NSC integrates resources across the three major research institutions in Oklahoma City: the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, and the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. Working closely with other NSCs and the NSC Coordinating Center (NSC3) as well as other NIA- and NIH-funded Center programs, we help advance NIA’s goal to extend healthy, active years of life.
