MACI Core

The Molecular Analysis and Cellular Imaging (MACI) Core supports geroscience research by providing advanced imaging, molecular analysis, technical expertise, and training to investigators studying aging and age-related disease. The core is designed to remove technical barriers that can slow research progress by giving investigators access to specialized instrumentation, shared technical services, and expert consultation that may not be available within individual laboratories.

The MACI Core supports two major areas: advanced imaging and image analysis, and genomic and molecular analyses. Through these services, investigators can study gene and protein expression, gene regulation, cellular localization, and complex biological structures with a high level of rigor and precision.

Services

  • Single Cell Preparation and Sorting
  • 10x Genomics Single Cell Sequencing
  • 10x Genomics Spatial Xenium and Visium Platforms (Available Soon)
  • Advanced Cellular Imaging
